The ground in northern Venezuela has not stopped moving for two weeks. Over 1,200 aftershocks have recorded since the back-to-back earthquakes. That is roughly 80 tremors a day. Every time rescue crews try to dig, the rubble shifts again. The official death toll just crossed 4,333. Over 16,700 people are injured. Thousands more are sitting in temporary camps waiting for the earth to finally settle. The arrival of a massive US humanitarian airbridge brings critical supplies, but nothing can stop the shaking.
