I bought this little stuffed toy after struggling with my mental health and decided to go solo travelling with him (thanks SB on instagram for the idea). All was going well until this giant guy with a Union Jack over his shoulders called me a "little gimp" and a "pedo" and made fun of me. Just another reason travel sucks as a single guy over 30 with ARFID I guess.

When I translated it to English, it said something about Tanabata star festival on July 7th. some holiday that includes tying wishes to trees.

I’ve lived in Waco my whole life and usually when these photos of downtown pop up I am able to pick out where exactly it was taken… but this one has stumped me.
I think the two “Waco Drug Co.” signs look AI and the repetition of it is strange. Also the line of people is just… odd?? Idk what do you guys think?

What are all these metal bits on this recently replacd power pole for? The backward-bent pieces and long curved rods don't seem to connect to anything, and there's a metal rod running from the top of the pole to the ground. What is all this equipment for? The old pole didn't have any of this stuff on it, it was just a bare pole carrying the cables.
