Hi yall i’m just here to rant about the past 12 hours ive had UGGGHHHHH…..

Rant one:

I found a beautiful vintage lotus lamp for $200 off fb marketplace and the person literally told me that “your name is on it and told me I COULD HAVE IT.

Wow i was soooooo excited and then a few hours before i was planning on leaving to get it, it gets marked as sold…. Me thinking “oh maybe so many people are hitting him up they marked sold so people would stop requesting”. I then ask him what his payment method was…. he proceeds to tell me they SOLD IT… TO SOMEONE ELSE… i fell to my knees and started crying……. and i know it is not the end of the world but oh my god that lamp was so gorgeous and i was promised it… UGGGHHHH all men ever do is give EMPTY PROMISES…. my brother and my partner both are very sweet though and told me if i found another one they would buy it for me so hopefully another one pops up soon….

Rant two:

I was walking my dog today and before my walk i thought to myself “maybe i should change to make myself not as girly looking” (i was wearing a pink tank top and sweatpants) and decided to not change…. anyways as im continuing my walk this guy tries to get my attention and says “hey beautiful how you doing.” I look at him and i looked away thinking he would go away…. he was parallel to me and on the other side of the road… as i am about to cross the intersection i noticed he actually parked his car and started walking towards me on his cane…. staring me down…so as soon as i finished crossing the street i GUNNED IT towards my house and as i was running i heard his cane get a little faster… oh my god I’ve never been so scared in my life i kept looking back and hoping he was not running after me.

There is this coffee shop at the corner of my house and i was planning to run in there to seek refuge… BUT OF COURSE IT WAS CLOSED oh my gooodddddddddd- but by the grace of luck i managed to flag down 2 men in a truck that passed by at the same time and i BEGGED them to help me. They offered to follow me home so i could get there safely. As i was trying to explain the situation to them I noticed the same guy TURNING THE CORNER and i pointed at him to the men…. he stopped in the middle of the street and put his car in reverse so quick…. then disappeared into the day… (it was 9am when this all happened). I asked my housemate and cousin to look around the area to see if he was still there and i’m 90% sure he might live down the street from me because there’s a very similar car that is parked a little down the street from where this all happened… I called a gym that had cameras but they said they couldn’t see anything. I called a leasing office to see if they had access to cameras but they said i couldn’t see it unless there was a police report. Called the cops and found out they couldn’t do anything because he didn’t do anything to actually harm me and all he really said was “if you were my sister i would tell you to move out”…. LIKE this literally could’ve happened anywhere and you’re USELESS… anyways f***12….. i’m just really sad i cannot confirm that it is his car and now i do not want to walk anywhere around here by myself in fear he will actually try something one day. At least my whole house knows and my close family members…. and they all know what the car looks like….. being a women is so scary and the fact 4 separate people told me to get bear mace… what a world we live in… im very grateful to have a strong support system and i got home safely. i dont know what his intentions were and i did not want to find out.

anyways for dinner i had green curry(it is devoured) and chick-fil-a fries that i almost crashed out about because i thought my housemate forgot to get me fries but he just wrapped it in tinfoil for me :p

My local restaurant has about 20 of these attached to the ceiling I assume it's some kind of fire suppressant system?
