That happens when drug runners dump cargo overboard. But the bigger problem is the boring stuff. Caffeine. Ibuprofen. Acetaminophen. Outdated coastal wastewater systems mean every time a tourist takes a painkiller and uses the bathroom, it eventually ends up in the ocean. The sharks are absorbing our daily habits. It is actively changing their metabolism and stress levels. Our chemical footprint is literally swimming inside apex predators.
