So as the title says my bf will not stop washing dishes with his bare hands. It's not a huge problem, just a minor annoyance, but still very strange. I've tried to get him to use sponges, scrubbers, even the dishwasher itself but he says they all "spread bacteria" and "get particles in the food". So he uses his bare hands and fingernails to scrub the food from our dishes (not kidding 🤢) which does NOT, in fact, "make them cleaner." I usually have to rewash them because he doesn't get the corners and of course doesn't use hot water because it hurts his hands, so there's a layer of oil too. He said he actually likes the feeling of the mushy food under his fingernails…

In other aspects our relationship is going well. But I guess nobody's perfect 🤷‍♀️

The U.S. House of Representatives has passed HR 193, a bill that would make Daylight Saving Time permanent, ending the twice-yearly clock changes if it becomes law.
The bill now moves to the Senate.
If approved by the Senate and signed by the President, Americans would no longer “fall back” or “spring forward” each year.
Do you support making Daylight Saving Time permanent, or would you rather keep Standard Time year-round?

Do these ever actually "open"? I am having a bad night and instead of using my fidget thing so I don't pick my fingers raw, I decided to twist this in the "open" direction for 37 fucking minutes and nothing happened. At least I now have a use for the body lotion, shampoo, hand soap and sesame oil containers I own that also do absolutely fucking nothing when turning the pump to "open" either.
