I was trying to learn about intermolecular forces. I asked google to compare it to neighborhoods when it suddenly made this creepy analogy about kids being naked and the neighbors being attracted to them. 😨

This cat has been coming around for a few months now. There are a lot of stray cats in my area. (It’s common for people to have outside cats and not get them fixed or spayed for some reason) so it could genuinely be either.

But I think it might be someone’s pet because of how friendly he is. The other stray’s and some outside cats bolt as soon as you even look at them. He on the other hand will sprint towards you while meowing up a storm. He has one of those notches in one of his ears that usually means a cat is spayed or vaccinated. In the cat’s case vaccinated I’m guessing.

But I think he might also be a stray by the fact that he’s constantly around this area specifically and none of my neighbors have said that he was their cat.

They didn't mention using AI in the campaign. I hadn't looked through the current version of the pdf I received from the completed kickstarter campaign, but this picture was in an update they recently released about the project. To me, it looks like AI, but I might be being overly critical.

Here are red flags for me. Most are differences in the reflection:

-The details on the clothes don't match.

    -The posture doesn't match.

-The arm/hand placement on the sink doesn't match.

-The details of the room (distance of window from ceiling, tile sizes, etc…) don't match.

-The wallpaper design is a mess and appears to blend in to part of the frame of the mirror.

-The faces look like a common AI style.

It didn't test positive for a watermark, but that doesn't mean much.

After seeing this, I checked out the artist's IG/Artstation. Some of their stuff jumps out with a few red flags, but nothing big. Mostly just typical things that are easily dismissed. As I am looking through the PDF of the current version of the book, I am questioning a couple of things, but nothing huge there. Most of the art is in a low detail style that easily explains inconsistencies and perspective issues. This image does stand out the most of anything I have seen yet.

If it is, then I am sad about it because I am really excited for this project, and it wasn't cheap since I pledged the highest tier.

*Edited for clarity and to remove language that made it sound like I was stating that the artist was definitely using AI. That was not the intention.
