Tonkotsu ramen (I canāt spell for shit)
Seems odd to post smth like this here but I canāt think of anywhere else to lol so here goes:
im a lover of all forms of life. I love bugs, animals, fish, etc. I canāt bring myself to dislike any of the worldās critters. Even when theyāre severely invasive⦠today my mom called me to deal with a critter on the porch (as is my ājobā lol) and I find out itās an invasive species of beetle. Itās clearly on its last legs so I try to sit with it while it dies. While I do that, I also do some research on its species, learn its invasive, and how to deal with them. Almost every article I read about this adorable little beetle is saying the kindest way to euthanize it is to put it in a freezer⦠so I do that and I just feel so bad about it because itās the reality of nature that when an invasive species is found, you have to get rid of it in some way. I want to love all animals and bugs no matter how much damage they may cause to an ecosystem but I canāt bring myself to cause any life form any kind of harm. But I have to⦠if Iām going to be an animal conservationist I have to deal with the fact that (as much as I hate saying something like this) not all animals are equal depending on location⦠itās a love and hate relationship
A friend then informed me that putting a bug in the freezer is actually a bad way to euthanize it bc it shuts down its organs slowly. So I felt even worse about it after learning thatā¦
I feel things so deeply and itās very much so a blessing/curse situation
