MLB legend Darryl Strawberry says success in baseball never filled the “empty void” he felt until he turned to Jesus Christ.
Strawberry credits his mother’s prayers and his wife’s encouragement for helping guide him back to faith, saying, “Christ is the only one who could fill that empty void.” -

You leave your phone at home. You think you are completely off the grid. You are not.
The Wi-Fi router sitting in your living room can identify you walking past with 99.5 percent accuracy.
Researchers at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology did not use hidden cameras to prove this. They did not install advanced tracking software. They just looked at the exact same signal your router already uses to connect to your laptop.
It is a standard feature called beamforming. It maps how radio waves bounce off objects in a room to strengthen your internet connection. But humans bounce those waves, too. Because of your unique physical build and movement, you disrupt the signal in a specific, measurable way. The router reads that disruption like a fingerprint.
Right now, this beamforming data is broadcast completely unencrypted across millions of homes and cafes. Anyone with cheap, off-the-shelf hardware can passively compile these radio wave reflections to map who is in a room. Even when researchers had people try to disguise their shape by carrying heavy backpacks, the system still recognized them.
Our homes are already wired for surveillance. We just did not know it.

“Maybe we should call ICE on you.”
That’s what a United Airlines employee told a passenger at SFO — a man who was born in Mexico and has been a US citizen for years.
Julio Varela was just trying to fix a ticket mix-up so his family could make their flight to Montreal.
His wife had accidentally typed their daughter’s middle name into the last-name field.
A simple fix, or so they thought — until United’s system canceled the whole family’s tickets and no one could undo it.
After hours on the phone and more hours stuck at the counter, Varela started filming.
That’s when the employee pulled out her own phone and said it: “Maybe we should call ICE on you… you don’t act like a citizen.”
Varela didn’t back down.
“Call ICE on me, lady! Call ICE on me,” he shot back, calling her out on camera in front of other passengers.
United says it’s looking into the incident.
The employee’s badge reportedly identifies her as a union steward, and her union says the comments don’t reflect its values.
Some people are calling this blatant racial profiling by an airline employee with zero consequences so far.
Others say tempers flared on both sides after a long, frustrating day at the airport.
Should airline employees ever bring immigration status into a customer dispute, or is this a clear line that should never be crossed?
