This is Zoey. She showed up in my yard last week. I checked on the local lost pets FB page and with the shelters, nothing. So the TNR person had me bring her to the shelter. No microchip. They spayed and vaxed her and by that time I decided I’d take her.
I brought her home last Friday and put her in my room to acclimate before introducing her to the other cats. She’s been under the bed, nightstand, and dresser and will not come out while I’m in the room. She’s eating and drinking water, and she uses the litter box.
How do I get her to come out? I’ve never had such a kitten like this before.
Update: she sneaked out of my room today and is now hiding under a hutch in the dining room! I’d like to put her back in my room but I don’t think I’d be able to catch her!
