At my house we occasionally go out with a magnet and pick up a bunch of rusty nails because we don't want to accidentally step on them but they keep coming back. We have been picking them up in the same spot for years but they still show up. In the photo you probably can see that a few also curl in on themselves. We think it's something to do with magnetic fields but we aren't sure. Do you guys have any clue why this is happening?
