This is Holly, I've had Holly for over 9 years. For those entire 9 years she has been the most sweetest thing in the whole wide world.
The next part isn't great news so if you wish to skip, now would be best.
Unfortunately, today I went to the vet for a lump and had my fears confirmed. She has a 90% chance of having mammary cancer. They also found a second lump I had not noticed. They're giving me a quote for surgery but it's not highly recommended by her vet as it won't change her prognosis. It's estimated that she could have up to 6 to 8 months with this cancer.
This is my childhood cat and I already lost my childhood dog to possible cancer as well just last September. This sucks.
No advice needed, just needed the space to open up.
