Greg Abbott is REFUSING to allow unelected bureaucrats and connected corporations steamroll property rights and common sense. The Public Utility Commission’s attempt to ram through massive transmission projects without legislative approval shows a dangerous disregard for the people they are supposed to serve.
Texans now face a staggering $33 to $100 billion bill, along with irreversible damage to family land , property values and rural communities. Hardworking citizens should not bear the cost of these sprawling schemes that enrich insiders while threatening reliable power and private property.
Governor Abbott is pushing back to protect Texas’ grid, wallets, and sovereignty. Lawmakers must stand with Abbott and Texas families against this top-down power grab and ensure any changes respect freedom, transparency, and the consent of the governed.
