The Amazon is too big to replant by hand. That is the reality conservationists are facing. So they brought in the drone fleets. Right now, autonomous ground robots and airborne drones are mapping terrain, testing soil, and figuring out exactly which native seeds need to go where. Then they plant them. Areas of the rainforest humans couldn’t hike to in weeks are having thousands of seed pods distributed in an afternoon. The AI optimizes the flight paths, selects the species, and constantly monitors satellite data to see which saplings survive. It is ecosystem restoration running at industrial speed. We used heavy machinery to tear the forest down. Now we are using it to put everything back.
