Im going to an event where the theme is lilac and I’d like to wear at least this skirt that I already own since it has lilac on it and I only got to wear this outfit once…should I wear it as is or wear with a different top?

While I love the look and fit of the first two…the longer floor length dresses all match her theme/aesthetic best… I have a favorite, but I am so torn so curious what you all say

**UPDATE: thank you so much for the help!! The comments helped me narrow down to #6 and #8 and sent to the bride and she said #8 so 8 pink satin it is!!! Will update with photos from the wedding 🫶🏼🥰💖💖

Hi! I need discerning eyes!

I am making a dirndl-esque skirt to go with this top but I’m lost on which patterns and colours to choose.

Attached are photos of the pre made top, and the fabrics for a circle skirt, with an apron, and added adornments like waist band, trim/ruffle, or pockets.

I am a quilter (straight lines and no spacial recognition!) and new to clothing sewing so I’m just making the circle skirt and apron.

I won’t be making the bustier in the inspiration photos, BUT! I can add ruffles or a trim fabric like the red inspiration photo. The fabrics with an X have the most yards.

I like CAMP and kitch, hence the potato and strawberry prints. This is meant to be worn once a year, annually and I’m a rave cosplay girlies so I’m not worried about being shy.

Help! How would you swatch this project??
