been feeling pretty down lately, i just quit a really shitty job (where i was basically bullied by the owner and was scheduled for like 4 hour every week) and im in a tough financial spot rn which has been super stressful. on top of that, i just feel a little sad for no reason as we all do sometimes.

BUT! i watched the world cup final on zoom with my brothers who i really really miss (they live across the country), i was rooting for spain and they won!!

i finally got out of bed in the afternoon, knit a bit, and i decided to go out and get dinner at whole foods. i sat on the bench outside and enjoyed a nice warm pnw evening with a yummy sandwich while listening to neil young. i feel pretty calm and happy now, and i even saw some cool birds fly by while eating (i'm a big birdwatcher). im gonna take the small wins as they come and keep on keeping on 🙂
