Hi so I asked a local tattoo artist to design a tattoo for my grandfathers who passed. I paid them a $50 deposit to design this and they turned this around in 2 days. I’m not saying that’s not possible, but my gut is telling me that this was 100% not drawn by them. I don’t know what it is… but I’m a digital designer and I just feel like… it ain’t right. Aside from that i feel like the art was turned around too quickly. The random background behind the shades and under the hat throw me off as well. Like what is that?

Made from around 6,000 handcrafted parts, "The Writer" uses no electricity or batteries. Powered only by springs and gears, it dips its quill into ink, writes any custom message up to 40 characters, and even follows the words with its eyes.
It can still be seen at the Musée d'Art et d'Histoire in Neuchâtel, Switzerland.
