White parts seem soft, like cotton (I didn’t remove from plastic cover). Blue is plastic.

the iris of my cat's right eye has had these darker streaks for a while, i feel it's progressing more as time goes by. it doesn't seem to bother her, but i'm just curious if this is something i need to keep an eye on?
she's 2 and a half years old btw
