More than 3,000 commercial rodeos happen in the US every year. Thousands of animals are run through them. Many are injured. Some are killed. Now, one city has drawn a hard line. St. Petersburg just became the first city in Florida to completely ban rodeo events. The ordinance zeroes in on practices that subject bulls, calves, and horses to unnecessary pain just for a crowd’s reaction. Animal rights groups are calling it a landmark victory. It proves community heritage does not require animal exploitation. The only question now is which city follows them next.

Let me start by saying that we are for sure going to break up but I still need to vent.
My boyfriend can never accept my “no” EVER. My boyfriend is very affectionate to put it mildly. He constantly wants to record us during sex, shower with me, etc. I’m not into either one of those. Last week he came over after work and asked to shower at my place. Of course I said it was fine. What he didn’t tell me is that he wanted to shower with me! He asked me to get in with him, and I said no. When he asked me why, I told him “because I just don’t”. He then proceeded to call me insecure and say that I hate myself because I don’t want him to see me naked. That was not it. I just don’t want to! Another time, he asked to record us having sex. I told him no. Again, I just am not into that and I also don’t want anyone having a sex tape of me. Be the started yelling at me saying that he hates that I’m so insecure about myself etc.
I am NOT insecure. There are just certain things I don’t want to. Anyway, I’m going to break up with him when he gets off of work. I just needed to get that off my chest.
