Like the title says, I was clearing blackberry bramble on my property and I found this creepy guy half buried starting up at me. The land is pretty old and I find stuff from the 18-1900s all the time. Usually bottles, horseshoes etc. but never anything like this. He's somewhere between cute and creepy and is currently guarding my front door now.

Every couple of bricks there's this corrugated plastic spacer (like plastic cardboard) between the bricks. It's just in one line of bricks, but all along the wall. What's it for? Why is it there?
