    So basically here's some backstory.

I had a job. A great job. I fricking *loved* my job. I worked in a small, independent antique shop for the best boss in the world who didn't care that sometimes I had to call out because of my health.

I have a nerve issue. It's very painful and part of it is in my trigeminal nerve – if any of you have trigeminal neuralgia, you know how painful I'm talking. My arms and legs also do that. The reason is, as of right now, an unknown being looked at by my doctors.

ANYWAY my beautiful job came to an end when my boss (owner and only other person there) decided it was time to retire. I don't blame him. We had a good run and he wants to spend the rest of his life, deservedly, enjoying himself.

So now I'm unemployed. Hubs works. Things are tight but not totally hopeless.

The problem *is*, my looking for work hasn't been going well. Because of my health issues, I sometimes can't get up. Which means sick days. Lots of sick days. I'm an employment liability. I see why I haven't had any calls back. I get it.

So things are only going to get tighter. We've got a teenager who needs things. We've got a four year that needs things. We've got bills and a cat and life costs money.

But I'm crafty. I've always been crafty. I make dolls (BJD), terrariums, candles, candies, teas, etc etc. Usually for gifts for people. They're never not well received.

And I've *always* wanted my own little curiosity shop.

So, I'm probably going to do that. I'm going to open my own online shop. It probably won't have candies (I only have my home kitchen), and it probably will take a minute to make enough stock to lean back on.

But there's no time like the present, right? I can do this. Right?

TLDR; I'm struggling to find work so I'm setting off on my own – virtually. Sort of.

Food featured: bland looking tuna mayo pasta but onion salt, garlic and black pepper with a splash of lemon made it taste not bland.
