    I’ve been having fun getting fancy with my sourdough loaves- I was gonna save it but instead I’m about to eat it with olive tapenade bc I deserve it

    just discovered my husband has been looking at nsfw subreddits featuring local people. Think “chicago Illinois casual sex” or “Miami nudes” but make it our small town. 😭 and I don’t know how to feel about this.

    For context, we have a great relationship, no history of infidelity, no reason to suspect. This whole thing is so stupid – I had checked his Reddit history to try to find a specific sub we were talking about (with his permission! In front of him!) and I saw these subs as recently visited. Ofc my heart fell out of my body and I immediately asked him what they were, and he was completely open and apologetic about it.

    He has no chat history with anyone on reddit, no saved posts, nothing. He insists that he has never met up with anyone or intended to, and that it is more of a curiosity thing? He said he was searching for our city’s regular sub and the NSFW ones showed up as recommendations and he checked them out because he was “curious if he would recognize anyone”. I checked on my phone, and with safe search off, his story checks out- it is one of the first recommended subs, along with the handful of others in his history.

    I have no issue with porn, we both watch it, it’s not an issue for us. However, it feels soooo intimate to specifically look at local people- as if the “what if” is part of the appeal. He says that he only looks “occasionally” and to “get himself started” before going to something generic like nsfw gifs or something.

    To be clear, I 100% trust my husband and believe he hasn’t and wouldn’t cheat on me, but I am really struggling with how to handle this. He has offered me full access to his phone but I don’t want it. I don’t know what to doooo

    Anyway, I guess I’m just looking for advice/thoughts? Am I being unreasonable for feeling hurt by this?Open to hearing from the lurking guys as well idk. Just needing to vent and cry and eat bread. thank you for reading ❤️
