Wtf is journalism nowadays? On top of all the bad grammar, spelling, etc., we get shit like this. The article headline states that sources are showing Disney is to shut down the PeopleMover. When you read the actual article, it is "Well, there's rumors of Space Mountain closing in 2027 for refurbishment. If that does happen, I bet the PeopleMover will have to close temporarily due to its proximity to the construction."
When does clickbait just cross into outright lies? This is on official sites and well-respected papers nowadays. I'm tired of "letter of the law" vs "spirit of the law." (I know it's not actually a legal issue, but I don't know how else to call it.)

So much going on here. I know that people will use a rock or brick like a chock but I've seen large rocks under all four wheels before. And the driveway is relatively flat. Also there are stumps under it? And what looks like steel cables going between some of the tires. And one of the tires looks rusted somehow?

Every day I open social media, and every day I regret it.
Another cat beaten to death. Another dog abandoned. Another puppy thrown away like garbage. Another innocent life tortured by someone who will probably sleep peacefully that night.
Some images never leave my mind.
An elephant, tricked into eating a pineapple packed with explosives, standing in the water for hours, trying to ease the unbearable pain before being put down to end its suffering.
A tiny puppy found in a trash can after someone cut off all four of its legs. It died a few days later.
A stray dog that had been chained for so long that even after someone freed it, it couldn't understand what freedom was anymore. It was too afraid to walk away.
Cats lying lifeless on roads. Newborn kittens thrown into bags. Animals shot for entertainment. Kicked. Burned. Starved. Used. Forgotten.
I honestly don't know how much more of it I can take.
It's affecting my mental health in ways I can't explain. Sometimes I catch myself laughing at something during the day, and then I remember these things exist. I feel guilty for smiling while this kind of suffering never stops.
What hurts the most is that they never asked for any of this.
They just wanted to live.
To eat.
To be safe.
To be loved.
I look at my own cats sometimes as they stare out the window, quietly watching a world they'll probably never explore. It breaks my heart. We have friends, families, endless places to go. They have us. Their entire universe depends on whether we choose to show them kindness for a few minutes each day.
I don't understand why sharing this world with them is so difficult. Why can't we look into their eyes and see the innocence that's staring back at us? Why is compassion so much harder than cruelty?
This world feels colder every day.
I'm sorry for writing something this heavy. I just needed to get it off my chest.
If you're reading this, please… be kind to animals. Sometimes, to them, one act of kindness is the only good thing they'll ever experience. -

McD recently put up these red light boxes that flash red off and on every few seconds at the drive through. Have not seen these at other locations.
Square shaped next to the order kiosk.
