I’ve sheared several grade 8 bolts with a wrench and some sideways deadlifts but I feel like the math of the rating doesn’t land for my apparent to me strength at the time.
Edit: I believe semi-solved by /u/argumentspiritual at this point after remembering the second wrench involved to gain leverage when placed on the first wrench, essentially making a 24” lever. The math mentally checks out but believe it or not, I haven’t written it out.
