I know I’m missing something here but I can’t figure it out. I was racking some mead the other day thru a siphon and was wondering if I had another siphon to re-rack it back into the original container, wouldn’t it just keep on going? I know the bottom of the siphon has to be lower than the top but with big enough containers couldn’t this be true for both siphons? Would water pressure prevent the water from coming out of one of the siphons?

Any insights welcomed thanks! I’m home sick and I can’t stop spinning this around in my head…

Would the water in the big tank have more pressure and thus be able to refill the smaller one, which floats in the big one? What am I missing here?
