I have E-F cup size boobs. I’ve never thought they were ginormous, but I’m in the process of losing some weight I’ve gained during being chronically ill and have been feeling pretty insecure lately. It takes a lot for me to wear strappy tops or crack them out in any way if I’m honest because of my insecurities about them, but because of this heatwave in the UK I cannot wear a bra without dripping in sweat. I’ve been having a mini breakdown about my weight and subsequently my wardrobe everyday recently. Today, I was wearing what I thought was a supportive strappy top that mostly covered them up.
I passed these two older men earlier after a food shop and they let me pass so I said thank you. One of them (or both) replied “thank you… for not wearing a bra”. I didn’t even process it until I turned the corner, and I’m annoyed I didn’t respond but it’s put me in such a foul mood all day. I immediately shoved my shopping in the fridge, got changed before I headed out again with a bra on, and a t shirt, angrily stormed around the city for an hour blasting music and have never sweat so much in my life. I’ve spent the rest of the day feeling pissed off, and observing my tits in the mirror, trying to not let that comment stop me from wearing clothes like that. Don’t know why it has got to me so much but I guess I’m going through a lot and it’s been a tough time for me lately.
Dinner/pic is roast chicken my housemate made the other night.
