During a walk on the North York Moors, a 12-year-old dog named Maisy fell 21 feet down a narrow underground crevice. An 18-member volunteer mountain rescue team launched a grueling six-hour operation to save her. Because the space was too tight for standard rope gear, rescuers wedged themselves into the gap and used a hammer and chisel to widen the rocks. A human chain successfully lifted Maisy back to the surface completely uninjured.
