I bought a box of shooting optics (scopes, etc) at an auction and this metal piece was in it. Because everything in the box was shooting-related, I’m thinking it must be related somehow. Google says it’s a seatbelt silencer key (I am doubting that, however it does seem to have the described ‘bottle opener’ design too)(caliper in pic for scale)
