I loved this outfit, straight up. I wanted to put something nice together for a warm evening on a patio that is also relaxed enough to actually live in.
The off-white linen blazer elevates the look for a nice French spot, but its meant to crease and soften as the night goes on. Underneath, an open striped linen shirt keeps the tailoring loose and breaks up the cream (going convertible is a must).
Chocolate pleated trousers ground the outfit and fhey add enough weight to make it feel appropriate for the evening instead of a daytime beach fit. Dark brown loafers and a belt keep everything seamless.
The result is a relaxed/outdoors outfit that matches the upscale vibe of the French restaurant. The more relaxed the night gets, the better the clothes look as they crease and mature.
Hope you all like it as much I did!
