In 2000, a melted ice cream stain fell outside a Coke vending machine in Houston, Texas. When people began to look at the mysterious stain they saw it looked like the Virgin Mary. Crowds gathered and people were “praying, taking a version of communion, and supplicating themselves” to the ice cream.
