Frontier is finally getting Wi-Fi.

Don’t get too excited about the price tag.

The last major US budget airline without in-flight internet just signed on for Starlink, starting in 2027.

For years, Frontier bragged that skipping Wi-Fi and seat-back screens is how they kept fares so low.

Now that’s changing.

Here’s the catch.

United and American already give Starlink away free to their loyalty members.

Frontier won’t say if it’s doing the same.

When asked directly, a spokeswoman had no answer on pricing.

Let’s be honest.

This is Frontier.

The airline that charges for carry-ons, seat selection, and printing your boarding pass at the gate.

If you think they’re handing out free high-speed Wi-Fi out of the goodness of their hearts, you haven’t flown Frontier lately.

Frontier’s parent company also owns Wizz Air, Volaris, and JetSmart, all rolling out the same Starlink deal across more than 1,000 planes.

One company, one playbook, and it’s not built around giving things away for free.

They’re also adding first class seating around the same time.

Read between the lines: this is a company chasing more revenue, not a better deal for budget flyers.
